Dr Deepa Dorasamy FRACP

I’m a dual-trained General Paediatrician and Neonatologist who cares for children from newborns to adolescents. I studied medicine at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and graduated with first-class honours in 2005. I have trained across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia, with over 10 years of exclusive experience in paediatrics.

I have a keen interest in the growth and development of preterm infants and newborn care issues, including feeding, settling, and constipation, as well as respiratory and atopy issues, and childhood behavioural and learning issues. I am compassionate and follow a family-based approach to paediatric healthcare provision. I am fluent in English, Tamil, Bahasa Indonesia, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Outside of work, my beautiful blended family, including my three children, keeps me busy. I enjoy functional training, cooking, and travelling. I understand the challenges of parenting and strive to support families and provide holistic care for my patients.
